Turbos need refurbishing
Discussion
They do the turbos but I think you are also asking who can fit/replace them. Not sure they do that.
Might be worth considering something a little different.
And this now begs the question, what turbos are best for the 2.5.
I would have thought that the GT25Rs's would do, will these give same power for less boost? I wouldn't mind changing mine at some point. I want the same power I have but would like to run less boost to get it?

yep thanx for the replys i do need some one to fit them as well , the car is running higher boost pres from standard as it was rebuilt using forged pistons and and alike now supposedly running approx 400BHP so any advise on what turbos would be greatfull as well as these have only lasted the best part of 6000 miles and now smoking , not all the time but just know they is going to get worse and worse!!
Having lived with both the T28 and now the GT29RS 60 I think refurbish the T25/8 is a waste of money and the better option is to go to GT25/28 it's such a massive step in performance especially drivability !!! My GT turbo,s are 1000 rpm in front of my T28 when it comes to making boost and they hold on a shed load longer !!!

Will the GT25s give same power (as the current std 25s) but with less boost and I assume they will spool quicker?
I hope they give more power as i want to put a pair of these on to mine.i,ve gone from having the original turbos on my 2.5L to change them for T25's(the 3L turbo's) and then changing them for modded, cut back T25's. And although im making much more power now, it does come on later and if i want to really use the power its only avalible at high revs. I think i prefer the the kick in the back of the small turbos.
Although if you speak to universal they will say the GT's are over spec'd for the HP we are running on the 2.5L cars
Isn't steve obes running GT25's ?

The GT25RS's are good for 500+ HP, not sure whether you will get that from a 2.5 though.i,ve gone from having the original turbos on my 2.5L to change them for T25's(the 3L turbo's) and then changing them for modded, cut back T25's. They will certainly spool better and give you the boost back lower down - although again, the 2.5 will not have the volume of exhaust gasses to drive them like a 3.0 does.
I would speak to Universal about what GT options there are - they do seem to know their stuff

Just Spoke to Graham and he says the GT25's are the way to go, However.....
The exhaust outlet flange is te 3.0L and therfore you will need to have the down pipe flanges changed.
You are also looking at just under 1k each inc vat.
Also for amusement I found out the the GT 28 60 RS's are also called disco potatoes. This is because they were originally designed for a Nissan development car that was the shape of a potato and had sycadelic paint so thats where the name came from.
Also, the GT25 and GT25RS is the same thing, the R just means bearing and the S swing arm for the actuator.

One thing I didn't ask but have noticed online, you can have a GT25 54R or a GT25 60R. These being different compressor sizes:

Which one would be better as both when combined will put out well over 400bhp?

Think it wont be very long now as looks like a mobile disco smoke machine fitted!!
Sorry guys not being that savid up on the engine side of things but if i fitted 2x GT25s will i have to have it set up on a rolling road, remap, bigger injectors, diffrent exhuast, fuel pump, or anything like that,
I use the car on a daily basis so also gotta be drivable not just a Toy
Thanx Mark

the gt25 54r is good for 260 ish bhp eachhttp://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turbo...

the gt25 60r is good for over 300 hp each - if you only want 600 hp this is probably the best turbo available for a 3.0 Noble
(both are too big for a 400 hp car - a pair of gt2052 would give you just over 400 hp)

Wouldn't want them to be too over worked for say 425-450 so I assume the GT 54 would be the best option for the 2.5the gt25 60r is good for over 300 hp each - if you only want 600 hp this is probably the best turbo available for a 3.0 Noble
