Hi All,

Just wanting to know, where did TVR take their brake Rotors from for the Sagaris/T350/Tamora? I've discovered that a number of parts come from popular vehicles manufactured in the uk during the same period (ie the Alternator is a standard LandRover component).

I'm especially interested in the rear Discs, because I need to replace them, and I'm in Australia.... they'll be the same as something popular... but what?

Thanks for your help,

Peter

I think the official answer is "Escort Cosworth" but that's not going to help you much out there. I believe they are very similar to some Japanese fittings; RX7 etc. An expert will be along shortly.

..I found out that the pads are the same as old Jag pads.. so have that sorted. Worst case, i'll rip one off and take it to a brake place to match it up smile

...oh, and I'm not too fussed if they're not cross-drilled... the car only weighs around 1ton, and the rear rotors dont do a whole lot of work anyway

See if DBA will match you something up, or make something for you. Might be cheaper than importing.

How many T series cars are in Aus? Any idea?

The discs are TVR specific made by AP Racing. Rear calipers are Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4.
