Blue Chim westbound on the M26 around 2pm on Friday afternoon, drove past us (Silver Cerb) and then we drove back past - didn't even seem to register there was another TVR on the road.

'nother blue Chim in Poole (by the Bus Station) around 6pm, looked bemused when waved at by a couple of nutters in Silver Cerb.

Do the blue ones have some form of wave disabling system ??

to the chap in the purple Chim with Zertec headlights heading towards Wimborne on the Badbury Rings road lunchtime today. Flashing of lights and a wave, thanks - car looked excellent

See us Purple Chim drivers do wave/flash/jump up and down.... T'other half told me off last week for giving a 'full arm out of window' wave to the oncoming Grif....

Always surprises me when another TRV driver sees you but refuses to acknoledge you - still some strange people around....

We've got a blue one and always wave, well, apart from the silver Chimaera in Salisbury a few weeks ago which we saw too late and the Red one on the A34 last night near Newbury which Mrs H saw, but I missed as I was concentrating on the muppett in front who wouldn't get into the nearside lane!

Oi! Phockit! No!

I drove my blue Chimaera past a silver Cerbera on Saturday night. I waved and got no reply.

Admittedly the Cerbera was parked and the diver had buggered off, but its the principle that matters!

We've got a blue Chim and ALWAYS do our best to greet fellow TVR drivers with a wave and a smile.

OK - sometimes the waving might be foregone due to concentrating on the driving...but never intentionally.

When a TVR driver doesn't acknowledge ME I usually assume its a bad day for them, concentration is elsewhere, and on another day they would probably have waved....

I've got a blue one and I always flash lights or wave, some people just think its beneath them. It doesn't seem to be restricted to any model though.

I'd love to wave and flash at other TVR's but never see any here in Hampshire

I always flash or wave, or both, from my blue Chimaera assuming i see the other TVR in time (any model), but often the other TVR is in the outside lane of the opposite carriageway of the m'way so i can't

A Golf gave me the thumbs up a while ago and i was so surprised it had gone before i could respond, or i would have waved back. i got overexcited this morning and flashed an Elise..he looked puzzled!!

Kinda try and wave, but sometimes forget to have the wave button switched to "on" position due to long hours at work.

A chap driving a blue chimaera waved at me this morning as I was crawling along the A316 in Twickenham.

in the 4 weeks I had the Chim I waved at all the other Tiv's I saw - in the 6 weeks subsequently I have wanted to wave at all the Tiv's but felt a little foolish in a VW Scirocco

I have a blue Chimaera but always seem to see TVRs when I'm driving my company car...so anyone driving a TVR who gets a wave from the driver of a blue Honda Accord....it's me!

I always wondered about that one - I tend to do most of my mileage in a Citroen and I do worry that when I pass (Ok, when they pass me) a TVR then all they see is a slightly scary bloke in a green bus waving madly with a big smile.... If it happened to me I would be scared.....

My wife occassionally accuses me of looking scary and she married me!!!

Cheers,

Paul

Hmm, I also feel an odd temptation to wave when I'm in the other car...

So, if anyone in a TVR round Basingstoke gets flashed/waved by some unidentified nutter in a black citroen, don't worry -- it's only me!

Theres a bloke in a red Chimaera often on the Newcastle Western Bypass that blanked me completely as I passed at 5mph in the slightly faster almost stationary traffic. Seen him since, looks straight through you. Even my hair was waving goodbye. By the way, just turned down another job cos i would have to drive a deisel Vectra rather than my (blue) Chimaera.

I think some people out there are not enthusiasts, just like expensive cars.
A bloke in my office has a Tamora and he wont even speak to me.
