Help I'm melting!

I need to fit a fan override switch.

Planning to use the rear wash wipe switch and was going to just overide the water temperature switch with it.
(IE, close the circuit accross the temp switch)

1. Have I got the right temp sensor? Its the one near the swirl pot (might even be in it, Im not near the car and have forgotten).

2. Does this temp switched feed a relay or the fans directly?

I cured the problem by moving north of Watford!!

Extreme I know, but the climate up here is a lot cooler
