Funnily enough I was travelling from Kent to MK and back for a client meeting today so on at 6A off at 14

On the way up apart from the AV speed section I was at circa 80 and was one of the slower vehicles on the motorway

They really do need to ask themselves what the problem is between 10 and 19, don't they ?

What website is that from? Not seen one that reports the average speeds above 70mph before.

Hah, I'm not, but I'm old in spirit about cars and car history - hence the numerous boxes of Classic Car Magazines lying around the house!

Ruined it for all those after.
AC Cars would have better been named BC Cars.

Ahh, do you think so? Ok, it provoked a Media storm and a Government knee-jerk reaction - but surely it would have come sooner or later anyway?

even without the AC incident - I don't think we would have had continued de-restricted use of our Motorways like Germany...it just would have been some other incident to make the limit happen I reckon.

A120 is currently at 127 mph and so is a1120

What's this all about? I haven't seen anyone travelling at over 65 for about 3 years.

You're probably correct, it's just that I am of the view that high speed travelling is of advantage.
In the air it is so, ok less since the sad demise of Concorde.
Faster = more efficient in most other areas, so why not all forms of transport?
