Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile
Discussion
Hi,
Driving through Turin/Torino a couple of days ago, and out of the corner of my eye, noticed the long wide building on my left, with the words, '...AUTOMOBILE' writ large.
Did a quick about turn, and wandered in. Thought to upload pictures (as well as keep them off the "Supercars spotted, some rarities..." thread) for those who may not have heard of the museum, or been lucky enough to get inside. It's a salutory experience in how a nation respects and cultivates it's industrial heritage. Also leaves the museum at Coventry a touch underwhelming in review, and makes Beaulieu come across as a tinker's shed.
A really good experience if you are anywhere near. Seeing my first Ro 80, the B99 Jaguar (which 'Roundheads' in JLR passed over this concept - stunning!) and the Mercedes-Benz 500K were great highlights.
