Aerodynamic lip spoiler
Discussion
Where can I find a new aerodynamic lip spoiler for a 2003 Esprit? Mine is all nicked up from stone chips and has some stress cracks. Also, the rubber spoiler is worn in spots from scraping the ground. Once installed definetely going to spend the money to get that 3M product put on it so I don't have to do it again in another 2 years. I have looked around on the internet without luck. Thanks.
Recent post on the turboesprit list, may be of help?

.. why not try the new S4/S4s/V8 front lipspoiler that's:
1. Adjustable for airflow
2. Race proven - i.e., the SAME one used on the Hyper Sport GarrettEsprit
3. Offers higher clearance.
Note, this front lip/spoiler is *wide*, it makes the Esprit look likea GT1 racing car. It sticks out about 4 inches on either side and 3inches forward as well. Oh, and it's black.

Last I checked, Michael from Michael's Motorsports has 3 in stock.
He already has one on his Sport 350 (looks awesome). Yea, Iknow...it's great to know someone who belongs to the Lotus HyperSport race team. You get a first hand look at their new technicaldevelopments.Contact via phone or e-mail from:

No financial interest on my part. Just thought I'd share :-)

Also, the stock 03 lip spoiler is available from JAE in the usa for less than the price lotus charge (fibreglass and the rubber stuff).
SJ Sportscars in the uk also do a reproduction glassfibre lip but it needs a bit of prep before it can be fitted, they also sell the rubber too.
My 98 lip is bashed and scraped, but i figure there's not much point in putting a new one on there as its only going to get the same treatment..
cheers

Thanks guys. That was a lot of help. Ya stone nicks seem to be a problem. After I get my local Lotus shot to repaint the areas, going to get it protected. Does anyone have any experience with paint protection film? X-pel has an Esprit kit, 3M has Scotchgard paint protection film and there is also an Esprit kit by Invicta-Shield? Also, any others anyone is aware of?
There is a Porsche in my neighborhood which uses it and it is totally invisible, except in one area where it is not applied well. Also, appears that the edge of the film is made visible if wax builds up on the edges. Hence my caution to figure out the best one.
