I drove one of these about 10 years ago. It had been modified but I'm not sure how much power it was putting out. It was manual because I stalled it the first time I tried to pull away. It took quote a lot of revs to get it to pull away but once it was going Jesus was it quick. One of the only cars I have ever driven which truely scared me.
Very different to the RVR, v6 vs 4cyl etc.
These are fun, quick (for what they are), if I remember quicker to 60 than an original Boxster, thats not shabby! The handling is far better too, and as commented already, hold value well. A couple of guys on an old 4wd forum I used had them, and loved them to pieces!

I drove one a while ago and was massively disapointed. Rolled loads (not helped by offroad tyres) and wasn't that fast for something with 280bhp. I didn't like the tiptronic style gearbox either. Seem very slow at changing gear.
I've got an old road test where they compared it to the Forester S/tb. The Forester was much faster and more of a drivers car (gues what I have
). However the Pajero does look so cool
