Dont want to sound rude but this seems to be a way to ruin a decent car?
Its your choice to 'upgrade' the lights but 'as it left the factory' is best IMHO.
If you are determined then be careful not to do it cheap as a good finish with fiberglasss and paint is very time consuming.
I dont understand why you would paint it all up and then wrap it. I am sure that wrapping will leave your paint in a right old state when its removed. But if you dont paint it before wrapping it then you will have a problem should you sell the car ie most people would want the wrap removed before buying it I would think. Then it will need a respray. Catch 22.

Ah yes, "leave it in the original Cerb spec" - that old chestnut.

Do whatever you want with it Kiddo - it's your Objet d'Art
(Plus I'll have another Guinea Pig to try wrapping that compound-curved front)

I've heard that wrapping shows up surface imperfections so certainly rubbing it down would be essential.

Why would anyone want to remove a wrap on purchase. It's like saying that a new owner would atomatically want to re-spray it, Shirley ?

I wouldnt buy a wrapped car as I would assume the paint below is stuffed. I would want the price of a respray discounted from the price so as to buy a wrapped car. I suspect a wrap will only look good for a year or so. All IMHO and no allowance for facts.

If it were me, I'd keep it original but as others have already said, it's your car so do whatever you want to do with it. smile

The only thing I'd say is do not take the approach of "Who does the cheapest". Instead you should be asking: "Who does the best..." or at the vey least: "Who does the best value...".

You usually get what you pay. wink

You could have breast implants for that sort if money. Personally I prefer them on the female model.

laugh

£1200+VAT is some decent suspension if you were to spend it on the Cerbera!

Have to agree, for that money I'd get some new reflectors and suspension.

Or maybe airbags...

I think you all know my opinion on Cerbs, but let them do what ever they like as I always get it in the neck when I offer my opinion, but mines staying as it came out of the factory, except for some mechanical parts that was crap or enhances the drive

No, I understand there is a dispensation for cars with stiff suspension not to need a self leveling system, mine passes its MOT with them in without any issue.

I thought the idea was to take the after market 'dazzling' kits off the road. What about the need for a cleaning system?

I took mine off recently and feel so much better at night knowing I am not going to be flashed at nor will i dazzle people.

Saying that my mot wouldn't have failed cos of them I'm sure.
