For very similar money all of these appear to be available. All quite different, yet offering some similar things.

What do you reckon? Wanting a fast, fun and seats 4 vehicle?

this!

always fancied a GTi-R but from reading countless reviews and forums they seem a little temperamental.

I see you've picked three of my favourite hot hatches there wink

Don't the Nissans suffer from chocolate gearboxes?

The Integras are very full-on. Not great if you need to do a long trip.

The RX8 isn't all that quick, and the stories of oil consumption worry me, but it's probably the one I'd choose if you want to carry four people in any sort of comfort.

Opted for RX8 based on assumption that it's as a weekend car for me

ITR.

Pulsar doesn't interest me in the slightest and never has.

Have driven the other 2 and found the ITR the much more focused drivers car and IMHO it is a genuine classic unlike the RX-8.

That's a terrible thought process, think of it as a positive, it encourages you to take a more scenic/twisty route hehe

You are right though, they're awful on the motorway.

I went with the Pulsar GTiR, the SR20 under the bonnet, AWD and those unassuming looks make it the best of the three choices for me.

I do like the Intregra but for the money the GTiR offer the best value.

I fancy the RX8 the most of those, I think it looks the most impressive, has decent power, RWD and an interesting/unusual engine.

I think they are ok so long as you don't go silly on the HP front and don't do lots of full bore starts.

Very similar is not slightly quicker than the ITR off the line.

Fair enough - didn't check the stats, but thought the ITR would make better use of lightness and assumed shorter gearing.

In that case, RX8.

I can see this being a landslide victory for the ITR.

Pulsars have interested me for years. I don't have big enough balls to throw money at one.

RX8 running costs would cripple me.

Me too.

I have to say I do like the rally pedigree they have (although they hugely flopped in Grp A WRC). Also they are quite practical, my brother had a 1.5 AWD Pulsar as his first car. Outside they are ugly, but kinda look cool because of it. Inside is not great though.

But I also like the idea of a turbo car that can put the power down. And a few mods and they are pretty rapid little machines. 280-300hp and 1200kg.

None of them my cup of tea but can see the appeal of the Integra, the Pulsar could be a laugh but you'd have to pay me to own an RX7.

I voted for the ITR because the other two are potential borkfests waiting to happen and I've also always really liked the ITR both DC2 and 5.

Really tempted to choose the Pulsar, but I know I'd end up modifying it and knowing me pop the gearbox, so I choose the 'Teg.
