Insurance needed for a day for international licence holder
Discussion
We've got a guest who's an Indian national.
Rather than rent a car, we're happy for him to use our cars while he's here (he knows London well).
Thing is, I tried to add him to my insurance but they wouldn't put him on the insurance as he doesn't have a British licence. He has an international, Indian licence.
Yes, I know their driving standards are shocking, but he's lived and driven around the world and his are fine.
Can anyone help?
Is there a way to put him on the car? He doesn't have his Indian insurance details and its unlikely they'd cover cars abroad anyway.
I just need to add his name to my insurance for a day or two...
