TVRCC annual track day, at Cadwell Park last week. A fun hoon around the track following Graham Varley's Sag, and great to see everyone there.

Brilliant Paul. Graham had some unusual angles when on the mountain.

Good to see you Clive & Kev, and John! Will your 'as new' Sag be allowed out next time John?

Graham was being creative seeing how far he could provoke the Sag without tears... quite far as it happens!

A later lap in the T350 was rather quicker with no traffic, if of interest ;

Always good to see these cars at play. Paul : you need a sequential gearbox and paddleshift!

Nice to meet you to Paul, seems like an age since we last met. The wee blue thing looks and goes well. smile

I've no intention of putting the car on track, it's not why we bought it - although Linda thinks a track is it's natural environment....

Race car should be rebuilt by last 1/4 of this year and can see the Megane heading for the hills so the fun on track bases should be covered.

Ok that will be the best sort of 'investment' that can be enjoyed on the road (between polishes).

Look forward to seeing the race car upsetting the establishment, they don't like it up 'em. Hopefully will join in myself before long if I can get my life & funds sorted out. The ARDS test beckons.

Off this Sat to see if the little VX220 can go just a little quicker and whip the roadgoing record away from the Evo's at Loton, which might be amusing to see... ranting

Paul, how do you get away with the way you hold your steering wheel. I thought it was just the track day but then looked at a couple of your sprints videos and then some more (excellent to watch thank you). Talk about Mr casual smile

Glad you're entertained! Any vids of Seat's conquests? Steering - a light touch to best guage grip - or maybe power steering has just corrupted me. However you do it, a balanced slide is most fun you can have in a car isn't it, like sliding your board.

We do not have many but here is one from the last round at Oulton. We have another camera in the car with all the diagnostics and positioning fitted to it. This was just to try a bumper cam - we are extending this to another couple so you can see the rear view as what this does not do is tell you why we are where we are on the track as we are defending alot on this vid.

Yes you are right sliding cars is great fun, I can not do it in the SEAT really though on its slicks

Exciting stuff, good overtake around Island and congrats on class win... the odd 'tap' reminds me that race cars need to be somewhat disposable. headache

I know Oulton quite well; interestingly you turn in to the corners a lot earlier than me & accelerate out later, though in totally different cars & slicks.
