What I was supposed to do for my mum today;

Sort the grass, sort the hedge...

Fence off the gravel area for the dog...

What I actually did when it started raining...

They were everywhere, at least another three escaped my clutches hehe

Makes you wonder where they came from - do you have a pond / marshy area locally where you could let them go?

I can only assume they were living in the grass. Unless it was actually raining frogs. As soon as the rain came down the grass just came alive. I ended up just letting them go along the edge of the fence and hoping they go next door as I don't really want to massacre them when we do actually mow the grass.

A couple of garlic cloves, lashings of butter and it looks like a veritable feast for your Mum this evening!

I get frogs using my garden as a rambling path. The symphony of croaks, and crap singing they do in the river is friggin load. Some really ones as well.

Found a few of these in my garden. One in particular was massive and only had one leg, my Dad said he might have caught it with the strimmer a while back, but it looked perfectly fine and was hopping about no problem when I saw it. We don't have any ponds near so I've no idea where it came from.

We tend to have more toads than frogs, we store wood outside for the log fire and they can often be found living underneath the large logs.
