CLK55 convertible

Evening all.

Off to look at a CLK55 convertible tomorrow and just wondered if there was a buying guide or anyone had any pointers?

I know the engine is pretty robust, but no idea of key Merc issues.

Use the search facility on here...istr electrics may be an issue. From personl experience they seem pretty robust

Cheers Rubystone, but the search facility isn't really working at its best. In fact, don't think it's worked properly for months.

Loving it. Awesome performance and noise and the handling is excellent too. No negatives at all other than the 3 attributes mentioned earlier make it difficult to drive in a manner that saves fuel!

As to the search facility, if it is falling back on that naff google search then i agree...it is useless.

Hi Luke, which one did you see, and how did you get on?
I'm struggling to find a decent one within my budget (£13k). I've been to look at two - one overpriced, the other very scruffy, dismissed one by talking to the owner on the phone, and there is only one left on Autotrader that I might go and see at the weekend.

Where are they all?
