Well, got up with a wee hangover, had a haircut..Got home and had a hearty breakie..Mmmm. I thought, weekend orf, its warm and sunny for now.. Quick, Thunderpants is looking shiney, get some fuel and go for a run...
The forecast was for rain from lunchtime and it was now 10.30. So Mrs B said lets go down to Carfrae Mill for a run and take a different route home... So we headed out, going over the back roads to head down the A68, but the sky over the A68 looked dark n gloomy so as we were at the A7 at Gorebridge we headed down to Galashiels then onto Selkirk.. Some cracking roads from Gala to Selkirk.. Then back to Peebles, home via Lamancha where the gloomy weather we had been running from finally caught us...
Who cares!!, all of a sudden we'd arrived in a torrent, flash water over the road (i hate taking the TIV out in really wet weather) but there was nothing i could do, as we got soaked by passing Discoverys and Range Rovers and the like.. Eventually got to Leadburn and the clouds cleared and as quickly as it started it finished..
Even if we were a little damp and then some, the beast got a good run, drank half a tank of BP's finest and i had a blast, dont know about her in doors, im sure she did...
