I`m thinking of replace normal gearkit with Geartech HD gearkit.
So I want to contact with BGH,but there is no email address on thier website.
Anybody knows email address?

Which ratio did you select?

And then,Although I looked for email address on that web,there are call number and FAX number.

think it was the 2.83:1 (standard 3.36:1?)

Much better "match" to the car than original, which was designed to allow a fully laden saloon car pull away on a steep hill with a caravan on the back.

Phone and speak to them without doubt, explain what you want, talk about it, get advice, stock availability, order gaskets and seals, check price, get oil recommendation etc. etc.

Have you had one of these box's apart before? Not rocket science, bit fiddley but if I can do it can't be that difficult.

There is a little "work" required on the casing, I didn't have access to a machine shop so made do with a rotary burr in a drill.

IS BGHgear kits straight cut or helical?
If straight cut,I worry about tha hissing sound.

Anyway I will call them,but I live in Tokyo Japan so there is time lag problem

The "long first gear" kit just replaces the laygear and first gear cog on the mainshaft so still helical.

In Japan TVR S-series is very rare.
