Hi everyone this is only my second or third thread I am newish to PH so I will Introduce myself I am 26 I am a QA/QC supervisor for a French pipeline construction company currently on a project in Moro in the south west highlands of Papua New Guinea My daily driver here is a 2011 toyota hilux or a 2011 Toyota Land cruiser V8 (1980's shape )Which ever takes my fancy the land cruiser is much better on the mountains mind , Back in blighty we have a 55 plate ford focus tdci zetec which will soon be replaced with a mini cooper s for the OH which brings me onto my question I recently toyed with the idea of a 08 WRX Imprezza but did not quite like the ride, Then I peered into the land of the Knob and wondered hmm a S3 with revo stage 2 map, with the usual engine upgrades fuel pump inter cooler etc. Has anyone on here ever done this or own one? Any feedback would be great is it worth the extra 7k on top of the 12k I would pay for the car, Are the figures I have been reading of 370 bhp with 400Nm of Torque correct. Cheers guys . Mr p

Must be with an upgraded turbo.
£7k for mods? Sounds absolutely mental.
Surely an intercooler, exhaust and remap would take it to 300bhp for £1.5k? Bonkers paying an extra £5.5k for 70 more hp.
Also wouldn't REVO stage 2 map be only tested/ mapped specifically to the car having only an intercooler / CAIS / decat as opposed to being mapped around extensive engine work?
I'd have thought a custom remap would have to be made after new injectors, a turbo, intercooler, exhaust, CAIS, list goes on.

I would look at the REVO stage 2+. 360bhp (ish) and you would have alot of change left over from £7000.

I believe that the S3 would require a Turbo back exhaust, injectors, cold air intake and a stage 2+ remap with the intercooler being not needed unless chasing headline figures. Im sure I will be corrected though if i'm wrong.

Perhaps look at suspension, tires and braking mods as well if your adding another 100bhp to the car.

Im not sure about the Turbo it did not mention anything about one in the car advertised slight exaggeration on the sellers half maybe?, I have recently found JKM Tuning in Portsmouth who will do the Revo Stage 2 and supply all the needed parts for around 3k, I got up to 4 grand almost instantly by sourcing the parts from FORGE and Milltek these were,Bigger Brakes, Divert Valve, Twin air intake, Inter cooler , Turbo back Exhaust resonated, High pressure Fuel pump,I still want to keep it as a daily driver for when I am home though so don't want to go too far e.g fly wheel, clutch so I will see what the guys from JKM Thanks for posting fellas

You'd be better trying to pick up one that has some bits already done/ Cheapest way to do it.

The remap, turbo back exhaust, intercooler, intake and a fuel pump should see that power.

There's a few Golf R's that I am aware of putting out more power than that without changing the turbo.

Knew you'd get involved here!! Slight thread hijack, but having been in your car, everything else 'quick' now feels slow...

Yup, working in Melbourne until the end of the month then fly straight home from here. Doesn't look like my car will even have been built, let alone delivered, by the time I get back. Disappointing.
