Hi,
This should be my first post about how great my car is with a few pictures. Instead I am asking how much a bonnet respray will cost. Last night while parked outside my parents house a couple of Chav girs decided it would be nice to get a picture of the car. I looked out just as the fatter of the two was laying across the car resting on the windscreen. I shouted various expletives out the window and fatty slid down the bonnet before running in next door. It turns out they were the babysitters and my neighbour was very apologetic when I talked to her later. Police have been informed (they wouldn't come out on a Saturday night) and are going to follow up but I have a feeling this will be coming out of my pocket. So back to my original question, how much would a bonnet respray cost, guards red 911 GTS.

Thanks

Demand the girls details and then claim on the families contents insurance or speak to the parents if that avenue is no good. Annoying to say the least but for the repair work to come out of your pocket is not right.

Thanks, the neighbour will give the details to the Police unless she admits she doesn't know who was babysitting her kids smile Might not have been a problem if the thinner of the two was on the car.
I just have no confidence in the Police or the law after 2 previous incidents on other cars but we will see. I will contact My OPC tomorrow for a quote or see if there are any other approved options.

Thanks

I'd imagine £300-400, why does it need a respray?

Vertical scratches down the bonnet, possibly off jeans as the girl slid down the car frown

Some people have no idea how stupid they are. Having to cough up might educate them a bit.

This happened to me once many years ago. I called the police on a sat night to say that a couple of drunks were sitting on my car, to which they replied 'we are too busy'. So I said forget the police, send an ambulance instead. Surprise surprise, within 2 mins a panda car showed up.

Loads of scratches on my bonnet too, from the stud bits on the jeans rear pockets frown

Cost me then about £300 IIRC.
