Bluetooth connection - 2009 JCW mini

We have owned our JCW mini for a couple of years and following the purchase of an up-to-date iPhone have been trying to remember how to connect the two using the onboard bluetooth (factory fitted system). The old phone works so we know it's not that the Bluetooth has failed. Connected new phone to two other cars with ease. But ModernMin has us stumped.

Anyone here that can explain how its done on a modernmin?

Nothing in the handbook or other media info either. Next stop would be visit to local mini garage.

The only thing that I can suggest is that you may need to delete the old handset from the list of phones. What you problem sounds like is as if the list of priorities is preventing your new phone from connecting.

I suspect that the connection and deletion is the same process as that of a BMW so you may want to go in to the phone menu and then set up bluetooth (pair) menu. There you should be able to delete and add handsets.
