Are you in warranty with Porsche? If so , a gazillion pounds. If not, £100 pounds for a Bosch S5 from eurocarparts.

They will replace under warranty if the batt is under 5 years old. Mines just been done it was about 3 years old. If not think the batt is £250+

How old is your current battery, ill hazard a guess if you buy a Optimate 4 charger it'll revive your old battery for years to come.

Told me the warranty was only 2 years on mine, as is all Porsche parts apparently, it was 2 years 3 months old, bought a Bosch with a 4 year warranty for about £70 IIRC

Parts warranty is 2 years but they will replace under the extended warranty if you have it and it's under 5 years

A Turbo may be a bit dearer but for a C4S it was about £170+VAT from the local OPC - fit it yourself in about 10 minutes (assuming you'll want to make yourself a cup of tea too wink ).

That sounds about right for my C4S, maybe a bit cheaper (£150 plus VAT springs to mind for a 997.1 C4S)

IIRC, it you phone Porsche assist they will bring a battery and fit it for free, whereas the OPC will charge you for fitting.

What's the coolant for, why do you need it and why we're you given it?
