Hard back sports seats.... paint colour?
Discussion
I've just bit the bullet and after two months of looking at options I've upgraded my beloved 996 C4S to a 997 Turbo. It's a late '08 (09 model year) car with a manual box (quite rare it seems), basalt black/black leather with sports chrono, just 8k miles and a fpsh... an absolute beast of a car! I have to admit I rediscovered the "Porsche grin" after the drive home.
I never noticed when buying it, but when cleaning it today I've found a few big scratches on the back of the seats. They are the hard backed adaptive sports ones, and the hard backs seem to be coated in a sort of very dark metallic grey paint coating over black plastic.
Does anyone know the colour of this paint, or has anyone successfully tried to touch up this coating before? If I can get paint close enough I think I can mask the majority of the problem, but I've no idea what it is, or if there is a close enough non-porsche colour?
Many thanks
Gary

Thanks, but I quite like to existing colour and I don't want to spend £££ painting them, these are just a few scratches so I thought it might be easy to touch them in. Also, once painted I know I would start getting precious about the seats, not good with an 8 year old in the back!
I've been doing some trawing around the internet, and it seems that the colour is "volcano grey" but Porsche don't sell it. Has anyone matched it in with anything else?
If not I was thinking of taking a trip over to a paint place (or Halfords) where they do colour matching and seeing if I can get a little made up.
Thanks
Gary
