Just been thinking about the BBWF and what a great time we had there this year. Would anybody be up for an impromptu meet up somewhere central. A bit like what we did last year for the BAR. Just book into a Premier Inn or the likes with an adjoining bar and have a bit of a get together.
I know for sure they would welcome us back to the one in Sunderland with open arms.
Just an idea.

I am trying to get Wedgers to the BNG which I am organising this year
which is near Leeds so is really central
I have even got Tony The Lean Machine "Elvis" for the evening function
and a friend running the disco so will be a good night
On the Saturday I also have a 2 mile long runway for just 320 per 1/2 hour slot
and based at Sherburn Airfield so lots to see and do as well as the TVRs
Hoping to get a Rolling Road and also an F1 type simulator as well
Mark Ziga coming to organise the Wedge calendar photo shoot with glamorous gilies
Full details here

Only problem is it is the weekend after Dixies Wedding and a couple of weeks before the RNR

Trickie's BNG sounds fantastic.its just what i wanted to do this year, but i cannot make that date and i was not at the fest either as those dates were posted wrong (last years left up) and i booked a holiday !!
If i could have made BNG i would have been happy about that one.
August and September are too tight for me to venture out...so October is the earliest.
Weather is usually okay in Oct and if us guys arent too scared of cooler fresher air, and the chance of a few raindrops....coupled with still having tax on the cars, perhaps we could have a meet up (without sausages Zig).
Monkey boy is touring Italy/France et al and will be back in a couple of weeks so i will run it by him upon his return.
Fair play to him, he really puts some miles up on that chimeara !! We done 1050 just going to le mans (with a few detours) and she never missed a beat.
He has just had a new programmable ECU fitted (at great expense) in preparation for an LPG conversion.
All well planned, including reducing the size of his petrol tank to create more room and the ECU is a better way to go than piggy-backing off the existing (apparently)
All in all, he is great with knowledge, likes an Ale, and really does love a wedge (hes just invested so much in the Chim, he cant back down !!)
Anyhow, lets try and rustle-up some interest and see how it goes.
