You will need a pair of link pipes and a joining pipe per caliper to your main fluid line via a T piece connection. Go to TBay and type in princess calipers and you should get a list of the bits I have described above. Make sure you also pick up a pair of lock tabs.http://www.motorsportads.com/car-parts/brakes/2329...

When you get you other calipers off weigh them as a comparison bearing in mind the extra weight will increase the effort to move your steering.
Hi mate..I have found the link pipes..But not sure on the tabs?...Ziga

These are the only locking tabs i could find..Not sure if they are the right ones though?..

I have just bought a pair of princess calipers, is there much to be gained by changing to vented discs as my calipers are standard without spacers?
I intend to rebuild before fitting, but have recently bought new single drilled/ grooved discs and would have to change them again plus the spacer kit etc?
Many thanks
Re the opening post, I think you will need to check the width of the spacers fitted as they come in 2 sizes (10 & 15mm?) depending on the application ?

On the spec sheet for mine it says i have an 8mm spacer kit fitted but a 10mm spacer kit was supplied..A printing error me thinks..The calipers have also been internally cross drilled so there is no need for the link pipe...Although i cant see any locking tabs on the list...
vented discs cool that much quicker, especially under heavy braking...I must say although i have a brake shudder which is hopefully getting sorted the weekened the 4 pot in comparison to the original dual pot is a big improvement..

Just looking at the link you posted for the link pipe kit, do you need 't' pieces as well or just the kit?
Any pics of one set up?
Thanks
Hi mate..sorry not too sure about the "T" pieces...Hopefully someone can explain...But as mentioned they may be needed..Any pics of one set up?
Thanks

You will need 15mm spacers to suit Granada 24mm vented disk. Shop around for prices as they vary. The spacers are available from the likes of Big Red, Godspeed et al. Or you could stick with the solid disk you may already have.
GV i believe these calipers come with a 15mm spacer but if i used the solid disk would it be difficult removing the spacer and what would be the difference in cooling as its not if i use it on tracks or driving mentally hard etc.Dix
Hi
If you remove the spacers you will need shorter bolts as per the originals and the original fitting kit with shorter pins for the pads etc. There is the possibility of needing new 'o' rings to seal the 2 halves back together again once they have been split to remove the spacers.
There is more info in the 'maintainance' section of wedge pages, entitled 'upgrading wedge brakes'
I have recently bought new single cross drilled and grooved discs (via eBay) for around £70 the pair which will work with standard calipers or princess calipers without spacers. I think they are available 'vented' for similar money, the seller is mintbitz ?

That sounds good to me ill have a look when the calipers arrive. Girling call these 'cross-gallery seals' and the originals are not O-rings but square section which give a larger contact area and are thus less likely to leak. There is the possibility of needing new 'o' rings to seal the 2 halves back together again once they have been split to remove the spacers.
These are the single discs I bought for standard calipers or princess calipers without spacers. They are available as drilled, grooved, dimpled (or a combination) at the same price . These are the standard non vented ones at 12.7mm wide and 262mm diameter.

Might be worth a phone call re the vented ones which I think are Granada mk 2 estate ? Someone will confirm
