Hi

Thinkng now of getting a 2000 reg renault clio
1.6 rt auto petrol

Anyone any ideas of mpg in real use?


Struggling to fin accurate figures

Based on experience with similar sized engine, auto cars I would guestimate 30mpg average combined.

Hmmm 1 i did find a figure of 37 on parkers onlin.
But wasnt sure if realistic.

My lerc e class estate 320 cdi gets average of 35 - - thats accurate on parkers

My father in law drives a pug 206 1.6 auto and that gets around 30-32mpg with a mix of A&B road driving, rising to 36-38 on a motorway cruise. I drive a C2 1.6 manual and I get around 35mpg without really trying. The most I have ever seen is 39mpg sat at 70 on the motorway.

Ok seems that she will get low 30s driving to work etc.
I guess not that pad - she wont drive that far.

Its not working before ive even bou it

But known problem i think/hope

Luckily i have a good local garage around the corner

Its The only reason i can keep the merc on he road with all its eleci etc problems!
