I don't bud that was at Crail Raceway quarter mile. Best time wast 11.52 hard to get power down on take off just to much wheel spin but when got off I just flew by the 911.
Had a good run with a 600bhp GR-R he takes me off the line and nothing in it all the way to the end. He beat me by half a car length.
I expected that with the 4wd and the power he has.

Thats it decided then, you need to get the GT28's and 600 so you can be as fast as us and blow the GTR's away! wink

Not making excuses but I had a 15 stone passenger. He had everything out of his seats the lot. His car was just over 600 bhp. He took be off the line twice and a car length at the start but I caught him up each time but just not long enough to beat it.
Would it make a big difference having 600 ponies like you lot?
I know our cars are not set up for drag but recon on a track I could take him. What do you think?
I was well impressed that a £30000 Noble distroyed a £100000 911

Not sure about the GT3 but the GT-R is 4wd and launch controls.

you can't really play the "his car is stripped out card" norman when your car weighs about 1100kg and his is the thick end of 1700kg!! minus a couple of seats, thats like throwing a couple of deckchairs off the titanic...

It is what it is, a few stone wont make much difference at the weight these cars already are, and yes the extra 100bhp does make a big difference, especially on the ring when you power past and pull away from a 1 litre sports bike with the happy button on the big straight and see him start to cry through his visor smile

actually... I worked out my lighter colleague would have an extra 10bhp/tonne on me if he were to drive my car instead of me.

Hmmm, Syd's car has 430bhp, 2wd and weights at least 500kgs more (isn't stripped out but has a roll cage and fire extinquisher instead of back seats)and ran a 12.6 on the day.....not much of a destroying. However, if you could get the Noble off the line better the difference would have been greater I am sure. Having switched from a Noble to a 911, getting a 911 off the line is MUCH easier.

11.52 Wow! thats a seriously good time for a 2wd car. Slightly confused though Norman as I notice the Crail Raceway website has your best time as 12.399 and the GTR with a best time of 9.341 smile

11.5 sounds about right for a 500bhp noble, my car with 400bhp managed a 12.2. As for the 9.3 id imagine you'll need a shed load more than 600bhp that GTR has. could be wrong though
