Howdoo chaps,

The leather on my dash (the bit right next to the bottom of the windscreen where the demist vents are) had dried up and shrunken so much that the fibreglass base is showing, I've tried treating it with several leather creams over time including Gliptone yet none of them has made the slightest difference.
I was considering neatsfoot oil but I'm not sure about it, has anyone else had this sort of problem?

Oh and I'm looking for an air vent (the ones that you can open/close/direct) if anybody has a spare they'd like to sell?

I think the dash top is vinyl in the majority of cars, in which case it dosent matter what you put on it, it is not going to stretch.

Had exactly this problem on my Chim, which is full leather. I have ended up replacing with vinyl on that part so that the same problem does not recur in the future. There is no point in trying to glue the original piece back once it has shrunk, it will simply lift again.
PM me for further details.
