Hi all hoping somebody can help me, just recently purchased a mercedes A class for my partner. Well it was a fine car until we had a spout of hot weather and it died? my partner left it parked up the road i went several hours later it started and drove back ok.
Then we had this recent burst of sunshine and again it died mid flow, unfortunately now it just starts and stalls.
I have changed cam sensor and crank sensor but nothing, people say it can be mass air flow sensor but this is integral with the ecu so a little reluctant yet to shell out £1100.
Does anybody have any ideas, so far as said i have changed cam, crank sensors and brake switch but it still stalls.
Any help is very appreciated.

Does it stall at any particular times? Or just randomly?

Have you checked for air leaks?

Strange one. I would have thought a temperature related fault occurs in the opposite scenario, when it's unusually cold.

Could be fuel evaporation (even though it's injection of course). Sorry, clutching at straws here...

Rather than throwing money at sensors, get it plugged in and ask the car what's up.
