World Record Tow Bar Quote?

Can anyone beat the below quote I got from Audi yesterday for my 2008 A6 3.0 Tdi Le Mans Quattro??

In fairness, they did indicate that they dont sell many at that price!!!!

Bit like the one I got from BMW when I had my E46. That was about £1500. I then went to a reputable Tow bar installer. I think it was about £450 in the end, also turned out that it was the same company that BMW used to sub all the tow bar work to, and they weren't seeing much of that £1500.

Surely we must be able to beat that from Range Rover/ Overfinch or someone like that? Added as an option to a new car....

Thats bad but BMW will charge you a lot more for retro fit of a towbar on a current model 335 touring sport £3200!
