Sorry Barrie, wouldn't fit. Being a 32 valve it's far too wide up top.

Any thing will fit

But to fit a overhead cam engine you will need a st load of work to fit it, no worth it Barrie

Look for traditional pushrod 2v v8's

But even some of those will need a full custom exhaust,

not without a lot of chopping of chassis and innner wings, those ford mod engines are huge.

there have been a few fitted in cobra replicas etc, but they are bigger than old big block engines!

Hhhmmm, I used to think that. But 'if' the chassis and body have to be chopped about, it doesn't really fit. I know what you mean in that you could get it in somehow.
