ker who shouldn't be on the road? Drunk? Or just tragic accident?
There were you?
ker who shouldn't be on the road? Drunk? Or just tragic accident? But thanks for your input.

It was clearly a tragic "accident" and maybe somebody was drunk, maybe not.
Your other "question" seems to me to be very insensitive and will only lead to the typical PH antagonism towards elderly drivers. There are good, bad and indifferent drivers of all ages, but maybe that was your intention.
As you were.

Err, sorry? There's no such thing as 'accident' in the current version of NewSpeak. It is COLLISION! "Road Traffic Collision!"
Now, after me.....
Or maybe UnGoodDrive?Now, after me.....
Same thing happened near here recently - old chap drove the wrong way down a dual carriageway, horrible crash as a result.

Sad but makes you think there perhaps should be some sort of retest for elderly drivers, people often go up in arms over youngsters and speeders but oldies can be just as dangerous
Been saying this for years!! Glad someone agrees

The only person I have ever seen going on the wrong side of the road was an old lady, who was on the right side, then drove onto the wrong side, forced a car on that side onto the pavement because she wouldn't stop, and carried on. Ok, there are some great older drivers... but after a certain point there are more bad than good, because of the way the body stops functioning as well. It's not wrong to say, in the same way young guys are often problems because of too much speed and lack of driving skills, and lack of "proper" fear.

This. Elderly people should be retested as a lot of them are dangerous on the road, all to often you read of old people going up the wrong way of main roads etc. Someone near me was mowed down recently by some doddery old f

k who drove onto the pavement and killed her. It's completely selfish..I recall watching a police programme on BBC and they pulled over a car for not having insurance. It was a man in his 80s and he said that he didn't bother renewing. The police just kind of laughed, said god bless him and gave him a lift home. Imagine if someone young was driving without insurance and decided not to bother renewing...

Dipstick. Guess you have trouble understanding the statistics.
ker who shouldn't be on the road?Maybe you're too old and doddery to understand, though.
