Car wrapping

At the moment my Mini has very little rust (I know this will change...)
Now, if I got it wrapped would it help prevent rust or just hide it?

might prevent surface rust (which you could clay bar off anyway).

Could it delay it or will it really have no effect? Apart from maybe surface rust like you said.

Most will rust from the inside out anyway I would presume?

I should imagine if you wrap a car and even the tiniest bit of moisture gets between the wrap and the panels (either when fitting or through use on the road in bad weather) then it will merrily rust away much quicker than it would have done normally
