Aux in

As you know recently I had my Z4M coupe serviced by BMW dealer. On it's return the engineer had changed the seating setting. I wasn't sure at first but persevered as it was really low and I could hardly see over the far edge of the bonnet. However I've now got used to it, saved the setting and rather like it. I've just noticed an AUX connection below the Temp control, which I didn't know existed.
Can I connect my iphone to it

Is it the 3.5mm jack? If so, you can connect any music source to it.

Is it std on the Z4M? Looks very much integrated, factory supplied.

I don't think it's standard, but is an OEM retrofit.

If it's the same aux cable as the E46, I think BMW charge about £50 for the part alone..

Recently made one for the TV / Sat head unit in my M for less than £4 - works a treat with anything with a headphone socket.
