Last night, in a locked and alarmed garage the Chim alarm started going off. Cant see any thing that knocked it and looks like nothing fell down in the garage etc...

Now, i have left it locked and alarmed and then ran a soft cloth over the boot to remove some dust and that also set the alarm off. Queue me running in to the house like a nutta trying to find the keys.yikes

Is there anyway to make the alarm less sensitive?

Sounds like the microwave sensor needs adjusting, usually found under the front of the centre console.

Well, mine is under the centre console, labelled Meta and has a screw hole with + and - on it. I guess it is a question of playing with the sensitivity.

'Tis in center console. I adjusted mine right down but it still goes off when someone walks past it.

Thanks guys, found a guide suggesting that it is under the little tray at the back of the center console.

Will try and turn this one down tonight.

Mine did this after a long period on a trickle without being locked. It kept going off and in the end I couldn't stop it without resetting. It's been fine since.

Disconnect the battery and leave for 10 or 20 secs. Reconnect and at the same time press the key fob. Worked for me. Good luck.
