Can anyone recommend a good ribs place near Baker Street? We're staying just around the corner at 10 Manchester Street hotel with my brother who is getting married the following day.

He's treating it as his last meal before he gets married, so I want somewhere nice (posh, if possible), rather than a strip joint before anyone suggests it.

Help!

Bodeans on Poland St in Soho does great food, its a nice place but not what you'd call "posh".

Website might have pics.

Depends how posh you want it?

Meat feast or posh meat?

Boodeans is in Clapham, fulham and soho close enough for you.

They do some very good ribs.

Thanks guys - I'll take a look at Bodeans.

Posh is better than a meat fest as he won't want to be too stuffed.

Keep 'em coming smile

If steak is an acceptable substitute, get in a cab and take him to The Hawksmoor at Seven Dials?

Yep the Hawksmore or Goodmans Steak house would be my choice of last supper!

Ribs at Bodeans are great.

Also there's the slightly less American-diner style of the Pitt Cue Co just behind Carnaby Street.

Oh, and if you're staying at Ten, make sure you take advantage of their walk in humidor cloud9

Royal China on Baker Street...Ok it isn't a Rib Shack...but its got good ribs and dumplings...it is quite fancy

If you want an American type place...Meat Liquor is only down the road from you and offers a great Burger and a fun ambience...though once again not very posh

You asked for posh so I recommend 34

Or Maze grill

Both are more steak than ribs but would tick the box for an excellent evening before a wedding.

Otherwise Goodmans on Maddox street or corrigan Mayfair.

Bodeans is good, especially for ribs, but is a chain where you won't be welcome to sit there all night. Bite to eat before cinema kinda thing.
