PH heroes nominations

I like the PH heroes articles on here. But what car would you nominate as a hero? Personally the MK2 Mr2, not fussy which one but the turbo is the obvious choice.
Thoughts?

Too true, you can get one for a grand these days with less than 100k miles on the clock!

For the money, not a lot compares. I would like to know what the PH team would think given a drive in a mint, well-specced, well-serviced rev3,4 or 5 Turbo.

The other contenders are:

FD RX-7 - you pretty much had to be a petrolhead to put up with the downsides and buy one, but what a lovely thing it is.
DC2 Integra - a bit of an icon
EK Civic Type R - mental, and much more like the lightweight euro Rallye hatches of the 90s than its successor
Supra TT - eveyrone knows about the power, but they really do corner for a GT
Suzuki Cappuccino - so small, so wierd, but if it was released today people would love it for its handling and frugality.

I think they've done the Scooby / Evo thing already in PH Heroes havent they?

Agree with you on all counts! Maybe because they weren't official UK cars, believe all of them were JDM cars... Toyota Starlet GT turbo has to be on the list also. 1.3lt turbo, handling like a go kart and an engine capable of 300+ bhp make it pretty intense!
