What order for these jobs!?

Today I've got to prep my old Citroen for a show. The job list is:

Exterior clean and polish
Interior hoover, clean, door shuts etc.
Engine bay tidy up
Boot clean out
Windows
Brightwork polish

Can anyone give me an idea of best order so I'm not re-cleaning st every five minutes!?

Ordinarily, my preferred order would be:

Engine
Wheels
Exterior including door shuts
Hoover dash, seats and nooks and crannies; clean and treat surfaces; glass inside and out; hoover carpets and boot
Brightwork, tyre dressing, rubber and plastic trim


In reality what happens:
Get all the kit out
Get talking to the neighbour
Make cup of tea
Rain falls, put everything away
Rain stops, get everything out again
Get told by OH we're going out somewhere
Put kit way
Mutter to myself

Ha, thanks! Fortunately wife and kids away today/tonight so I can do as I like for another 36 hours.
