Peer to Peer Sharing... The Best??

Ok, We all know of it, Most of us do it. So which program is the best?

I have used Kazaa, Soulseek, WinMX, Morpheus and Shareaza, I found Shareaza to be the best of them all but it spywared my pc and I had to reinstall windows

I use kazaa lite, they make you pay for latest version but places like fileplanet still have the old versions which are free in their archives

Spyware free. Except if youre counting all the virus', trojans etc. that people share.

used kazaa k+++, generally very good.
shareaza way too slow, and now i stick to bit torrent with azureus client. i do not bother with k+++ anymore.
get all the tv shows/films/software/music from bittorrents. virus free

and for new films and software I use the e-donkey network with the emule front end. Slow but reliable.

How/Where do you find the files that you can Download. I see there is no Search Facility.

I'm slightly confused.

I downloaded Azureus, and went to www.suprnova.org, clicked on a link to download I robot, Azureus Sprang to life but nothing else happened! What am I doing wrong.

Currently got eMule Working away at downloading I Robot though.

If azureus springs to life, it should ask you what directory you want to save the files in.

I doubt very much that it was shareaza that installed spyware. It's open source software, and as such unless you downloaded an onofficial version, I can't see it having this effect. The source code is open for everyone to see, and so anything dodgy would be spotted in very short time...

The only thing I noticed with shareaza is that it doesn't care what ports it uses, so firewall software can give false positives when certain ports are used.

KazaA on the other hand - stay clear, it's riddled with spyware.
