Merc SL500 TV - digital tuner?

A friend of mine has a Merc SL500 with TV however with it being an old model he only has analogue TV, is it possible to add a digital tuner to the TV?

I've however not been brave enough to perform the conversion yet.

If you remove the panel behind the passenger seat you will find the tuner.
You will also find two sets of AUX in RCA phone plug inputs - audio (L+R) and video.
You could attach a digital tuner to one set and perhaps (this is what I did) attach an iPod video output to the other input.

In this way you can watch videos in your car
