Hi I'm wondering if the collective might of PH can help identify what sort of lamp would be required for this light. Apparently it's a photography light but other than that details are thin.

US plug, so a standard US Bulb, is my guess.

A19, with an E26 base.

110V, natch, which could be a problem.

Assuming it's just a light and nothing more then change the plug for a UK standard and fit an ES crown silver lamp - no problems.

If it has any electronics or similar in the unit then yes you will maybe have voltage problems.

Which could also be why it currently requires a bulb!

I thought it was probably 110v. I think the OHs boss has bought a bulk order of random stuff on eBay and this was in there. Cheers for the info I'll pass it on!
