First "proper" drive today.

Well I managed to get out in the car today to have a solo run after I bought it on Saturday.
After about twenty minutes I found some relatively quiet roads around Holmes Chapel and opened it up a we bit!!
Fan bloody tastic, after my previous cars it took some time to start to enjoy the "basic Instinct" feel to the car - wonderful.
The bellow from the sports exhaust after 4k rpm is amazing - it's just so visceral!!
It's the nearest thing on four wheels that I have driven that made me think like I did when giving my motorbike a serious shake down - you drive far better when you forward plan and really focus - just great. It feels like a bloody big go kart on steroids -ha.
Anyway and hour or so later I reluctantly head back home as I had to take the wife shopping.
