The biggest problem you will have with the M5 E61 will be when it comes to replacing it. Nothing comes close...

I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but short of track days or ludicrously narrow Welsh/Cornish/Scottish B-roads, it will make your 911, however nice it is, redundant. smile A friend has a pristine LHD 964 C2 with LSD, you should have seen his face after a drive along his favourite A-roads in Kent in my E61. He still cannot believe the acceleration and amount of speed that an E61 can carry into a corner...

Enjoy!

P.S. The 964 is my favourite 911 and slate grey is the colour of my race 928, so you do have a great taste in cars smile

Thanks for the comments, I'm pretty sure on the budget I had this is the optimum driveway now.
M5 is for the kids and weekend, the 964 is my daily the e61 will destroy it in most categories.
The one that the 964 has me grabbing it's keys over the m5 is the pure basic recipe of noisy rough slightly underpowered air cooled lump and no fancy electronics
E61 great car all round

Lovely motor you have, i love them they offer the best of both worlds pace & practicality, i wish i could keep up with the fuel bills on one, plus i bet it feels alot quicker than my 520d!!!

Enjoy driving
