964 cup steering wheel

Anyone got a black one of these for sale for my new purchase -

I was after one of these for a mate last year and popped a wanted ad in the PH classifieds.
A couple of weeks later I get an e-mail from a guy who had fitted a new wheel, and it was collecting dust in his garage. Practically gave it away as well

BTW that's a clubsport steering wheel which is often, wrongly, described as an RS wheel. And original RS wheel looks like a standard wheel, is slightly smaller and has 'RS' on the horn pad.
The clubsport wheels are very nice to use...mine is the version with the badge on the horn pad. If buying used, make sure that you get the boss with the wheel, otherwise it won't fit.

I realise ill be in the minority of one hre, but much as I love that steering wheel, indeed, i have one on my 928 (mine came from an OPC and was far cheaper than the ones linked) on an aircooled 911 you will lose some of the delicacy and fantastic feedback that the factory thin-rimmed wheel provides.
I have kept the standard one in my 964 having tried both. Deeply un trendy, doesnt look anything like as bling, but works better. porsche knew what they were doing with the factory wheel. And as someone else has said, the 964RS has a similar thin rimmed wheel to your current one..

I hear you but prefer the look. I can always swap back I guess, I have kept the standard one in my 964 having tried both. Totally agree. I had a CS wheel fitted to my 964C2, and much as I like the way it looks, it definitely dulled the steering feedback. It also obscured a large part of the speedo and oil temp gauge:I have kept the standard one in my 964 having tried both. The original is back on now. Looks worse, works better.
