Hello,
Apologises if this has been covered many times but I couldn't find anything via the search function.
I've bought a car that has the front end, roof, wing mirrors, bottoms of rear arches and top of wing covered in Paintshield. The job has been done very well and looks great.
Are there any specific shampoos and waxes that I should use to clean the covered and non-covered areas of the car with ?
Thanks

Can't see why you shouldn't use whatever you normally use.

Just be careful not to get wax/polish in the edges.

general rule of thumb is treat it like paint. Use regular shampoo , polish and glazes etc

Tom at Paintshield advises sealants/polishes/waxes with gentle and non-aggressive solvents. If you can smell the solvent it generally means it's a stronger product.

I'd also go for non abrasive products where possible.

Standard shampoo, no clay, maybe a detail spray and then something like a weak solvent carnauba wax would be all that is needed IMO.

That said, I think his new film may be less fussy.
