Wing mirrors won't fold in

My battery drained down to safe mode a few months ago. It has since recharged successfully. However, my wing mirrors will no longer fold in when I lock the car with the remote control. The mirrors were previously programmed to fold in automatically.

Is this a dealer fix or is there something I can do to reprogram the mirrors to fold in?

Dealer fix only I'm afraid...... 2 min reflash job

I think it might depend on what year your car is. Mine did this last week (2006 car)... the dealer plugged it in and sorted it for no charge. He mentioned that it could be re-initiated via the menu system on newer models

It will be in car settings, defo worth checking it hasnt been switched off first

Michael's spot on as usual, it is only from the 2010MY onwards that you could alter this yourself.

Any chance this is actually a Volvo system given that the key fob and mirrors look like Volvo clones? My closest Aston dealer is in Toronto or Montreal (250 miles either way). The Volvo dealer is 20 miles away.

Definitely worth a try. See if they can activate remote window opening / closure, too.
