I popped to Brands Hatch today to watch some action from the track day.

There was a rather lovely XJ220 in the paddock, and an R8 being driven in a manner that suggested a mere mortal was not at the wheel. Sure enough, out stepped Tim Harvey, looking happy as ever. He comes across as A nich chap. I didn't want a 'Plato moment' with him, so no contact was attempted! biggrin

All in all, a rather good day.

A great driver. I have very fond memories of him in GT racing with the Viper about 10 years ago.

..And handy, as he brings his own success ballast with him!! biggrin

Met Tim a long time ago. He was giving hot laps in an E36 m3 at a track day.
Showed the Beemer no mercy at all, was right on the limit through out. Was amazed at the guys car control, I was sitting in the back and it felt like being in a washing machine.

But yup a nice guy, and was happy to talk and answer questions about his BTCC escapades

Not a good look, but I guess it could have been a lot worse.
