Just been browsing the PH classifieds and came across these two adverts.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4141695.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4141769.htm

Is it just me or are those ads very strange and very under priced ?

Scroll right to the bottom, he has several cars for sale, all seemingly under priced and all only listed today for a quick sale etc.
Can't all be nicked.... Seems legit...
Go for it.

Have seen similar ads on Gumtree, with the contact seller directly bit.

Curious.

far too cheap

do the big balls at PH towers not have the some way of scanning or vetting adverts

must be something, i mean it's not exactly gumtree

must be some sort of admin involved

Any classified ad with email addresses printed on the photos is a scam.

Hopefully they will be removed asap.

The impreza they've got for sale was being advertised as Khan having it for sale then somebody else and now another name by the look of it.

Since he's using a @btinternet.com email I'm going to try reporting him to BT. Would be funny if they could get his internet cut off for it.

So what actually happens if you contact the seller? Do they take your money by a bank transfer and never deliver the car or you turn up and they mug you??

Similar ad's on autotrader. Normally say something like dont call the dealer call me direct. They hack into the dealers online portal then advertise a fake car, you then have to pay for shipping etc via Western Union. Big con.

I didn't notice the others at the bottom. If you click on the charles allen website link none of the cars listed at the bottom are on the website so it does look like some sort of hacking scam.
All the cars are just under the £4K mark aswell for some reason.

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
