Colour choice V12V

Hello everyone,

Choosing between two v12vs, need advice and thought there is no beter place than PH
one is Tungsten over bitter chocolate, the other in meteorite over black.

The chocolate interior looks and feel much nicer than black, which is usually my preference, but not so sure about the tungsten silver.

So basically, I have to chose between one car which has a exterior that I like and an interior that Id usually like, or the the with an exterior that is ok and really really beautiful interior.

I know some would say, place a special order, the thing is I'm getting a very good offer here.

Tungsten over Bitter Chocolate sounds lovely! Both are great combinations but I would go for Tungsten. Is it a light stitch?

Thanks for you reply, it has full bitter chocolate except for the stitching which is in silver, it is really really lovely, Just trying to accept the tungsten which looks deferent from ever angle and light.

That's the great thing about tungsten... the light really makes it interesting. And it's one of the few silvers that I'd pair with bitter chocolate.

I love Bitter Chocolate, perhaps my favorite interior choice. I also think Tungsten is gorgeous. That said, Meteorite looks very good, and Obsidian Black looks great also and is timeless. Tungsten won't show dirt as much as Meteorite, but Tungsten is also rumored to be one of the most difficult colors to match if it ever has to be repaired. I'd go Tungsten with Bitter. Is your preference for Bitter over Black greater or lesser than your preference for Meteorite over Tungsten?

I love Tungsten. Such a special colour. The Meteorite is great, too.

You get used to the interior almost instantly, but I love it when you spot your own car and it stops you in your tracks. You need to choose the colour that will do that.

Tungesten is quite a it lighter than meteriorite. One other factor in your choice should be if you want the carbon fibre to contrast or blend in with the paint. On Tungesten it contrasts and stands out more than it does with meteroite which is practically an identical colour to the meteroite.

I'd go for the Tungsten one, mainly because of the interior, but partially because Tungsten does look stunning in the right light (not that I'd ever tell Jockman that).

When I got my first V8V I was choosing between Tungsten/Bitter Chocolate and Meteorite/Black Cherry and went for Meteorite/BC. I subsequently had a Meteorite with a black interior but I always regretted not going for Tungsten/Bitter Chocolate and will be putting that right when we get our V12VR

I do like the fact that Tungsten does appear to 'change' colour and think it goes very well with the CF additions that the V12V has. I think that Bitter Chocolate brings life to the cars interior with Black just not having the same effect. I found it really rather dull after the Black Cherry interior.

Not surprising then that if I had your choice to make I would go for Tungsten/Bitter Chocolate but what a great position to be in - whichever one you go for she will look fantastic and don't forget to post pictures when you get her.

You really can't go wrong with either, Meteorite and Tungsten are two of the most popular Gaydon colours. Tungsten became less popular in recent times as people moved away from lighter-mid silver to darker hues (too many silver cars about), but it is now coming back as people get fed up with all the dark colours (fashion figure!). I think Meteorite blends better with the carbon add ons and makes the car look more cohesive and classy, but that's just a taste thing others like the carbon bolt on bits to stand out! I also love the Bitter Chocolate interior, but this may date a bit in the long term, although is more fashionable as of the moment. Black is a classic colour... pure class, and this will stand the test of time.

Anyway you can't go wrong, so if you like both colours, choose the best value/deal and best spec (premium audio front parking sensors, light weight seats etc).... don't forget if either car has phantom grey carpets that saves another 1.5kg

I love my Tungsten DB9 but my spec for upgrade will NOT be Tungsten as I want to try another colour - Meteorite is as good as any

Another exclusion is that the car cannot be older than 09, Georgeous. My current car was from that Dealer (via Wilmslow)

My current XK is black over black, before that I had a rapide in onyx black over black full leather, and almost every other car I had
I gusse Its time to movie away from dark/dark combination, but I always worry that I would later regret it and feel tiered of a deferent colour.

Grey or grey... hmm, really doesn't matter

But gorgeous bitter chocolate or dealer-spec suicide black... please choose the chocolate car and post pictures. You sit inside the car, not outside, if you want a black interior, get an 80s Toyota!
