I didn’t think these were ever made in RHD but here is one on ebay in excellent condition, I assume it’s been converted from an auto unless anyone can correct me!

I’m really really tempeted, about £5k short though if I’m completely honest with myself. Could this go up in value in future?

I didn't know they were fetching that kind of money now, manual TT definitely getting hard to come by though. Certainly couldn't see it depreciating anyway.

It states the car was a "GZ" so it must be a manual conversion as all the GZ's were automatic.

OEM examples are getting harder and harder to come across now, which is a shame.

Yes, it will have been converted, because as you rightly state they were never available from the factory.

Also it has UK\Export cream leather which wasn't available in Japan.

So does a conversion increase or decrease the value in people opinion? Seems good to me (though as I say I probably can’t afford it) and probably the most desirable combination.

So long as it's done well, I don't see any reason why it would reduce the value, I'd rather have a 6 speed!

Hmm...increase now, not sure about in the future.

mint Supra TTs have very good investment potential. But think about a 69 Camaro Z28 that has had a transmission swap...not the same as all original!

depends how long you want to keep the car or what you think the potential is.

I would suspect it would only serve to increase the value. Manual TT Supras command huge prices these days, the autos not so much. I suppose it is a case of the auto blunting the appeal of this sports coupe.
