Afternoon all 
Recently I've been thinking about starting a project website as I've pretty much got nothing better to do, but just thought I'd run the idea through as many people as possible.
To put it simply, the idea is to form a website where people can exclusively post onboards of tracks, along with their times, all round the UK and maybe further afield later on. From experience, watching onboards can be a great help when going to a track I've never been to before, and gives you a rough idea for lines and braking points etc.
Now I know there is such a thing as youtube, but there seems to be a lot of dross on there, and many of the videos are just unwatchable, plus watching an F1 onboard is not much good if I'll be driving around in an Austin Healey Sprite. I also like the idea of a dedicated site, so no surfing dogs to distract you!
This is probably the part when someone says such a site already exists and I'm an idiot, but all opinions welcome! I just want to know how much mileage potential there is in this.

reckon its a good idea
If i wanted to learn a track i'd look at it.
The only problem I can see is - nobody that is any good in a competitive series will want to post.......they aren't going to want to share their quick laps with other drivers from different teams.......
I certainly wouldn't be putting up pole position laps etc if I ever got one

can kind of understand if the vid has all the data overlaid on it, but even then, what are people going to see that they can't already work out from following you?

have you ever followed anyone else on track? You never put your best lap together when someone is behind you!
