The Chelsea Cruise - is it back?
Discussion
This cropped up in a thread I started about hot rods and I thought it was worth a separate thread.
Is it back? It it any good?
I've always wanted to see it but heard it had been killed by Barryboys in chavved up Corsas.
Anyone been recently and is it back to proper Americana and hot rods?

My friend an I attended the last one on Chelsea Bridge last month.
The entire bridge, and the Park, were rammed with all kinds of amazing metal - from classics, to Hot Rods, to general Americana with monster V8's and superchargers sticking up out of the bonnets
There was also an interesting selection of other stuff - some 60's British classics, up to a South African Ford Sierra XR8.
It's the only place I've EVER seen 3 examples of 60's Dodge Charger RT/10's in one place
Everyone was well behaved, no ridiculous driving, it was mostly parked cars with people wandering around looking and taking photos, clutching a cup of tea from the burger van at the foot of the bridge.
It was all left to continue un-hindered; by that I mean we didn't see any coppers descending on the event - bar the odd Police bike riding over the bridge occasionally.
So yeah! It's still going strong - at least it is as of last month!

Saturday the 25th is the next on, apparently the worlds end distillery (pub) just of the kings road is hosting a big meet there with a run out to the bridge via a cruise down the kings road.
Also the ace cafe normally have a run out from the ace down to the bridge, I think....but may be wrong there having a big run out on the 25th also.
Luckily I live at Albert bridge so have a walk over most meets, it's normally a good night
